JEE Main 2023 Notification Released for Session-1; Check Exam Date and Other Details Here

JEE Main 2023: National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the notification for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2023 sESSION-1. Eligible & Interested Candidates can apply online from the link mentioned below. The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE (Main) comprises two papers. Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B. Tech) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. It is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs. Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the Country.

For Academic Session 2023-24, it has been decided that the JEE (Main) – 2023 will be conducted in two Sessions i.e., Session 1 (January 2023) and Session 2 (April 2023). The details for the Session 1 (January 2023) are given below

JEE Main 2023 Age Limit

For appearing in the JEE (Main) – 2023, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12/equivalent examination in 2021, 2022, or appearing in 2023 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE (Main) – 2023 examination. However, the candidates may be required to fulfill the age criteria of the Institute(s) to which they are desirous of taking admission.

JEE Main 2023 Exam Pattern

JEE (Main) – 2023 will be conducted in 13 languages i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali,
Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. In the first session of JEE (Main) – 2023, only Session 1 will be visible and candidates can opt for that. In the next session, Session 2 will be visible, and the candidates can opt for that Session.

The application window for Session 2 will be re-opened as per the details available in the Information Bulletin and will also be notified separately through a Public Notice. For Papers, Scheme, Timing, eligility and other information, candidates are requested to please check the Information Bulletin of JEE (Main) – 2023 available on the website:
